Built to Last

METAL

At County Line Buildings metal is our siding of choice. But not just any metal, we use 29 gauge steel dipped into a mixture of molten zinc and aluminum, with a coating of Siliconized Polyester 1050 paint baked on at 750 degrees. Our metal is designed to last a lifetime and withstand the elements. We source our metal from Quality Building Supply, so our color options are based on their color availability.

SKIDS

Picture
There is a clear notched 4 x 6 skid under every mini barn produced at County Line Buildings.  The skids lock into the floor inset notch every 24 inches for the most secure fit.  With the skids it is easy to move the buildings and keeps it off the ground several inches.

FLOORING

Picture
At County Line Buildings we use 3/4" water resistant sub flooring in our mini barns.  This is not OSB, but the typical sub flooring used in home construction with a 50 year glue. 90 day no sand guarantee.

INSULATION

Picture
We provide a bubble wrap insulation that is placed between the outside metal and the studs. You can have just the roof or the entire building bubble wrapped. The insulation helps keep the building airtight and reduce some of the bugs that would get in.

WINDOWS

We offer several window options so you can choose the one best suited to your needs.
Aluminum
Our aluminum windows are single pain and the cheapest option we have. If you are looking to just add extra lighting to your barn this would be perfect.
Vinyl
Our Vinyl window option is a standard double pained window. If you want something with more insulation this is your best option.
Octagon
Our octagon windows are great in the side gables for letting in extra light and making a nice aesthetic touch.

Electrical

When it comes to electrical you want something that is reliable.
We offer both 12-gauge and 14-gauge wiring.
If you are planning to run power tools are anything that is going to run a lot of electricity, we recommend you use a 12-gauge wire. Its heavier and can handle the load.
14-guage will work fine if you just plan on have a light.

Lofts / Shelving / Workbenches

Picture
All of these add on items are built with 2x4s and the same 3/4-inch subflooring that is used on the floor. Although rustic, adding any one of these can help keep your shed clean, organized, and user friendly.
